J Funk

Jason is a crate digging vinyl junkie from Cheltenham. He has been DJing since the mid 90s with an eclectic taste in dance music. Mainly playing house and break beat but not afraid to throw anything from disco to dubstep if the mood is right, you are bound to hear something you have never heard before.

Penny Riviera

Penny Riviera is a kiwi singer/songwriter based in London who writes musical observations on life and pop culture! Often compared to a young Debbie Harry due to her looks and charisma on stage, her unique striking voice surprises and holds audiences captivated. Penny sings with humour, honesty and fragility and relates to her audience like they were here closest friends. Her songs are inspired by personal life experiences and observations of the triumphs and tribulations she observes around her. Tipped as a rising star in the UK Americana scene, she is one to watch!

Hard Rock Cafe, Mahiki, The Bedford, The Islington.

George Marshman

Derby local, George Marshman, is a young fresh talent, with a passion for dance music.

His live sets vary from slow melodic house rhythms, to upbeat jumpy tech tracks, and even delving into the dark and deep side of minimal tech.

Spending a lot of time in clubs such as Stealth, Mint Warehouse and music festivals, George has picked up techniques and methods used to deliver a set to suit the time and the crowd.

We are a north-easterly based band outputting a conglomerate of funk, rock, and psychedelic, with a light dusting of uni-v.
We started up in March 2015 and a few successful jams. We’ve played in the Teesside area, building a good fan base and planting seeds. We’ve also played in Leeds, Newcastle, Durham, Sunderland and Berwick upon Tweed. After the release of our first studio album, The Everglades, we plan to spread our wings a little more.

The Watershed

The Watershed was founded in 2016, a four nutter band specialising in alt rock. Trying to break boundaries in live music, they go above and beyond to create an atmosphere. If that doesn’t get you going, the drummer usually gets topless (he is what we call a beautiful man). The Watershed are “mad excited” to be playing this summer breaking their Venture Virginities but thoroughly look for to popping the ol’ cherry.

Canny Fringe Festival.

Elliot Klein

Based in Derby/Nottingham, Elliot Klein’s music is a blend of edgy acoustic and electronic pop, with influences coming from a wide range of musical genres. Currently recording his debut EP, he is on the way to making a huge mark in the music industry with his revolutionary sound.

Though defined as ‘alternative acoustic folk’ their music includes elements of a number of different genres, with inspiration taken from an array of different artists; Nina Simone, Florence Welch, Newton Faulkner, John Butler, Beyoncé, David Bowie, and Frank Turner - to name a few!

The combination of powerful, soulful vocals, with high energy fingerpicking and occasional percussive elements on guitar always makes for a lively and massively entertaining performance.

Kitty VR

Kitty plays a mixture of both originals and covers in a Jazzy ambient style. After being brought up on heavy metal Kitty decided to do her own stripped back version of songs like Down with the sickness by Disturbed and Toxicity by System of a down.

Pre Drink DJs

I'll play pretty much whatever is shouted out at me. Barbie girl? No problem, The macarena? Yeah maybe. I like to take popular songs from the U.K. charts and make them applicable to a dancing environment, usually using progressive house as a base.

Cosmic Ballroom, Social Butterfly, Soho Rooms, St James' Park, Pre Drink DJs.

Aarcade and Wedgwood come together to be the Pre Drink DJs. Combining their creative minds to deliver a set like no other. Only see one of us? Don't worry, the other is probably just getting the beers in. It makes our music sound better, well.. To us.
